This Mini zip around purse crafted in full grain Oak bark tanned leather.
The mini purse is compact in size and has a practical zip around construction. The exterior leather is Black oak bark leather and it is lined with natural vegetable tanned leather
Inside it has 4 pockets for credit cards, 2 sections for notes and coins and a slip pocket in the center.
The exterior leather is natural pit tanned leather treated with extracts of tree bark. It will develope a depth of rich colour and patina as it ages.

This tannery is the only oak bark tannery in the UK
Oak bark tannage is a long, gentle process that protects the natural fibres of the hide unlike modern tanning methods.
The tannery sources hides locally as a by-product of the meat industry and they are tanned using only oak bark and water for minimal environmental impact.
It takes 14 months to produce each piece of leather using this age old technique, making the leather stronger and more durable over time.
It is full grain leather, not corrected grain, meaning that there will be natural blemishes and stretch marks which add a lovely unique quality to each product.
